Philadelphia Museum of Art Engagement

We wanted to finish up January with one of our most fun, winter engagement sessions this month. With the snow continuing to fall in Philadelphia, Nicolas and Rachel’s happiness glowed. Throughout this article, you will get a quick peek of their engagement shoot, find out a little about the couple, and learn about the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Meet the Newly Engaged Couple: Rachel and Nicolas
Rachel and Nicolas are a couple that have known each other for a very long time. As a matter of fact, this couple has known each other since they were elementary school age. They met at church, where they would often altar serve together. However, they never really had much conversation until a few years ago. It was the year 2014, and Rachel’s father was in the process of becoming a deacon for their church. The church held a big celebration for her father’s accomplishment, and Nicolas attended the celebration. He and Rachel began talking and decided to hang out outside of church. They enjoyed each other’s company and started dating that summer. Fast forward to 7 and a half years together, and they are now happily engaged and in the process of planning their wedding day.

Snowy Philadelphia Museum of Art Engagement
Although the couple did not know how exactly they wanted their engagement photos to turn out, a winter snow storm was on its way to Philadelphia. Some people may panic when a weather situation comes up like this. However, J&J Studios thought this would make incredible photographs for Nicolas and Rachel’s engagement session. The beautiful snow glistened on this cold winter day, but Nicolas and Rachel’s love shined even brighter. Congratulations to the happy couple; we wish you both the absolute best and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two!

The Philadelphia Museum of Art
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the most gorgeous buildings in the entire city. It was built in 1928 and has since become a very popular tourist destination. This place currently holds almost 250,000 artistic objects, which include artifacts from Europe, Asia, and the United States. When you visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art, you will have the opportunity to see many incredible sculptures, drawings, paintings, photographs, decorations, and so much more.
Our team felt like Philly’s art museum would provide the perfect backdrop for Nicolas and Rachel’s engagement session. Even though we never stepped foot inside, the grounds, scenery, and architecture were absolutely astounding! If you want to visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art or would like to have your photos taken at this location, the address is 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19130.
