So, we thought we’d round up ten of our very favorite Philly venues for you, complete with pictures, of course. Without further ado, here are J & J Studios’ ten favorite Philly venues for weddings!

The Pyramid Club

This unique Philly venue sits atop the 52-floor BNY Mellon Building in the Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia. This beautiful venue is not only grand, it’s also quite contemporary in style – perfect for the modern couple with lots of family and friends! 

The Pyramid Club offers couples a stunning wedding ceremony space in addition to its reception spaces. The ceremony space boasts a domed ceiling with windows that allow in tons of natural light. So, you and your guests will look your best on your wedding day! 

The Pyramid Club’s private rooms all feature gorgeous views of the city, too, and the Club itself can hold up to 500 guests. The Pyramid Club is also conveniently located a block from Suburban Station, and two blocks from the 15th Street Trolley Station. 

ONE North Broad

Located in Philadelphia’s historic Masonic Temple in Center City Philadelphia, ONE North Broad is one of the grandest Philly venues for weddings. 

The Masonic Temple itself was built in 1873, and is world-renowned as an architectural wonder. Its spacious rooms are each designed and decorated in the style of ancient architecture. 

The Grand Ballroom at ONE North Broad can host up to 250 guests with banquet seating and a dance floor. The addition of its Foyer can add space for 50-250 more guests. The Grand Ballroom is also home to a stunning bronze sculpture of that titan of early America, Dr. Benjamin Franklin.

Ballroom at the Ben

If you’ve seen the movie Silver Linings Playbook, you’ve seen the glamorous Ballroom at the Ben! It’s where the iconic dancing competition scene with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper was filmed.

The Ballroom at the Ben is owned by Finley Catering. The Ballroom itself has a capacity of 150 to 350 guests. 

With its soaring ceilings, grand staircase, and gorgeous crystal chandeliers, the Ballroom at the Ben is sure to impress any and all wedding guests! 

Vue on 50

The Vue on 50 is a Philly venue that boasts “Philadelphia’s most spectacular views.” This Philly venue can be found on the 50th floor of the Three Logan Square building. 

As the ballrooms take up the entire fiftieth floor, you have only to choose your favorite view when it comes to the Vue on 50.

The venue can play host to up to 230 guests. With two ballrooms, twenty-foot ceilings, and amazing 360 degree views of the city below, there’s so much to love at the Vue on 50.

Crystal Tea Room

Found in the Wanamaker Building and located mere steps from Philadelphia’s City Hall, the Crystal Tea Room is easily one of the most elegant Philly venues. 

Cocktail hour typically takes place in the atrium at the Crystal Tea Room. With its glass ceiling, the atrium gives an “outdoor feel” to any event, no matter what time of year it takes place. 

The massive dark wood bar at the Crystal Tea Room is an impressive sight. We love how the mirrors reflect the shaded chandeliers! It really gives an Old-World feeling to this modern-day ballroom wedding venue.

The Crystal Tea Room itself is home to carved columns and crystal chandeliers, making its design classic and opulent. The ballroom can host 150 to 1200 guests!

Please Touch Museum

One of Philadelphia’s many museums and definitely one of its coolest, some might not even consider the Please Touch Museum when debating about which location to choose for their Philly venue. 

However, this unique venue is a perfect place for pictures, as well as a fun-filled wedding! The gorgeous South Foyer seems made for wedding ceremonies. 

The Please Touch Museum offers multiple spaces for weddings and wedding receptions. Some of these include Hamilton Hall, with its massive dome and replica of the Statue of Liberty’s arm (made from toys!), the Carousel House with its hand-carved animals on the restored 1924 carousel, and the East Gallery’s Alice in Wonderland inspired exhibit, among others.

Hill-Physick House

Built in 1786, the Hill-Physick House is a historic square four-story house of brick. It is also the only freestanding Federal townhouse that remains in Philadelphia’s Society Hill neighborhood. 

The house once belonged to a surgeon named, fittingly, Dr. Physick, from which it gets a part of its name.

The Hill-Physick House boasts a large city garden. This garden features plants that were popular in the nineteenth century, a winding path, and a grotto. Up to 100 guests will fit at a seated dinner in the garden at the Hill-Physick House.

The Rittenhouse Hotel

You can find the Rittenhouse Hotel in Center City Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse neighborhood. This Forbes four-star rated hotel sits along Rittenhouse Square, which it overlooks. 

The Rittenhouse Hotel isn’t only a hotel. It also offers a Spa, with Hair by Paul Labrecque. Having the Spa and Club at the hotel means that brides and grooms can relax and unwind both before and after their wedding days!

The Rittenhouse Hotel’s proximity to Rittenhouse Square and its park gives couples ample opportunity to take gorgeous outdoor wedding photos when the weather permits.

The Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic

The Cira Centre Atrium claims to be Philadelphia’s newest wedding venue. Located inside JG Domestic, this space offers panoramic views of the city of Philadelphia. 

The Cira Centre Atrium can accommodate up to 250 guests at a seated reception. The style of this Philly venue is chic and modern, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that let in loads of natural light and display the lights of Philly once the sun has set.

This Philly venue is definitely the perfect spot for those who want their wedding venue to exude modernity and elegance!

Philadelphia Distilling

Philadelphia Distilling is also an incredibly unique wedding venue in addition to its industrial beauty. This Philly venue is home to large windows and a thirty foot marble bar placed in front of its copper pot stills.

Oh, yes – Philadelphia Distilling IS a working distillery! Don’t let that fool you, though – this venue is quite upscale. 

Philadelphia Distilling also offers a fourth-floor cocktail lab, which also boasts stunning views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
