We must say that this was a wonderful session to begin 2022 with! 

Harrison’s Addison Street Proposal to Devyn

Harrison and Devyn have been together for quite awhile and were ready to make things official. Harrison knew Devyn was the girl of his dreams and he could not wait to take the next step of asking her to marry him. They met at an awesome music festival in Michigan, which was called the Electric Forest. Therefore, he knew that his proposal would need to be as great as the place that they first met. After research, he decided that Addison Street in Philadelphia would be the perfect setting for this anticipated moment. Harrison called our office and told us of his plans and how he would like a photographer to capture this incredible moment for the couple to cherish for a lifetime. Without any hesitation, we knew we could make this happen for Harrison and Devyn.

Our crew did our best to make sure we did not spoil the moment for the couple as they were walking toward us. We tried to look as normal as possible as well as less obvious. Once we saw Harrison get on one knee, we began documenting the beautiful proposal. The photos turned out to be phenomenal, and we know that the couple will treasure them for the rest of their lives together. Congratulations Devyn and Harrison; we are so thankful to be a part of your special evening and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two!

The Magical Addison Street in Philadelphia

Addison Street in Philadelphia has become very popular over the years. Most people may see photos of this street covered in lights and think that it is a holiday attraction. However, this street stays lit up all year long. At night, couples enjoy strolling the street hand-in-hand after a date, which is what Devyn thought she and Harrison were doing. However, Harrison had a surprise up his sleeve that he and Devyn will remember forever. As a matter of fact, our photographers have captured several proposals on this street, making this small alley in the center of Philly one of the most important parts of many couples’ relationships. How fascinating is that?

In 2019, Curbed Philadelphia named Addison Street as one of Philadelphia’s most beautiful alleys. As you walk down this street, your eyes will be met with old steps, iron posts, windows framed with colorful wooden shutters, and window boxes that either have some type of flowers or decorations. The most amazing part is that the white lights are wrapped around the ginkgo trees. You will immediately find this street to be charming, as it creates the perfect romantic setting anytime of the year.
