New for 2020, J&J Studios introduces the Best Philadelphia Newborn Photographer providing in-home concierge service for newborns in the greater Philadelphia area.  We bring our portable studio to you so you don’t have to be inconvenienced directly after the labors of childbirth.  During your recovery, why leave home for your newborn pictures when you can get photos like these at your house.

Newborn portraits should be scheduled within 1-2 weeks after birth. This is important as your baby will grow quickly and sleep less as time goes on.  A sleeping baby is critical to a good outcome for newborn pictures, so babies 2 weeks or less of age are best.  We usually begin the shoot depending on the baby’s mood.  If the baby is sleeping soundly, we can start with the bean-bag pictures as shown above.   If baby is more active, we can start in the nursery or bedroom for some editorial style images.

We also bring clean black or white backdrops along for some classic newborn images.

We love posing a few pictures of your new family together.

Of course props are welcome.  We have various props and scenarios, but with a little planning, we can execute any fun ideas you have.

To finish off the shoot, we love posing baby in their crib or nursery for some memorable photos.
