Bijou Bridal, Maggie Sottero, The Black Tux Styled Shoot

This past week we were lucky to team up with Bijou Bridal and The Black Tux for a one of a kind styled bridal shoot held at the gorgeous Valley Forge National Park. For those of you that don’t like to read, here’s the video recap:
For the old souls who enjoy reading, read on:
We started the day in the studio while Arty Charli expertly did hair and make up for Megan, we took some stunning groom’s portraits of our male model Marcus. We wanted an old time look to the images so we featured some contrasty dark images on a black background with subtle blue uplighting to catch the smoke from his cigar. The wonderful thing about this picture-perfect model couple is they are in fact a REAL couple. I reached out to Megan a few weeks ago on Instagram and she thankfully said yes to coming on board for this shoot.
Marcus looked absolutely debonair in his Black Tux Tartan Tuxedo. He paired it with a vintage Rolex Submariner.
After makeup and hair concluded, we headed over to the Artillery Park at Valley Forge to start off the festivities. I always like to start with some editorial candids to get the creative juices flowing. Megan looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero Fatima wedding dress.
After some candids, we posed a few images along the rows of cannons.
The field next to the artillery park was a perfect background for our white throne chair from Rent All Affairs. Patty, the owner, was generous enough to furnish this lovely prop for the shoot.
After our first location, we headed over to the National Memorial Arch to close out the shoot.
