The Bride Getting Ready:
Allison chose to host a bridal show brunch to kick off her day of preparation for what would soon be following. She gathered her group of Bridesmaids and while she prepared herself with their assistance, they also found time to toast her and wish her well for the nuptials they will all be participating in.
The cute touch of a Bride & Groom ornament enhanced the basket greeting Allison and her chosen Bridesmaids.
A feature of any wedding is of course the gown that the Bride has chosen for her special day.
The Groom getting ready for his day:
The day of the wedding is special for both the Bride and the Groom. So Matt has gathered his chosen Groomsmen to help him ready himself for his big day!
While a Bride has her special wedding gown, the Groom also must decide on the outfit that is going to help him present himself for his wedding. A Tuxedo in this case has been chosen to be the perfect outfit.
Many men have taken on to displaying their fashion commitment through the wearing of special socks. This was no exception in the case of the Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding of Allison and Matt as you can see below. Quite an assortment is present, and each has a special meaning to those wearing them.
All of the Groomsmen and the Groom all dressed to the nines in their tuxedos, ready to move on to the next part of the day’s activities, including a limo ride and some pre-wedding toasts on the way!
Formal portraits:
While the day will be a collection of many moments, each contributing their own mood and representing key happenings, there is always the part where more formal poses are desired. These will provide the more traditional captures of the day that the couple will have for many years to come. It also affords the opportunity to gather primarily the main participants of the bridal party – The Bride and Groom of course, but also their mutual bridal supporters, along with Parents and select friends and family who are participating in all of the days planned activities. This is where the talents and insight are important traits in the photographer that the couple have engaged for their event. More about John a bit later, but again, this is where the skill and experience begin to take hold as the day unfolds, and moments can be fleeting to get that perfect shot. This couple is clearly committed to a religious aspect of their ceremony based on the setting and the participants. This simple yet stunning altar provides the backdrop for most of the ceremony of this couple.
The picture below is simple but so lovely as the texture of the flowers and their beauty shine through even in a photography. You can almost smell the fragrance of the bouquet simply by looking at the photograph!
This picture is expansive, capturing the entire bridal party as the ceremony is nearing conclusion.
You can imagine that, after the somewhat stressful process of walking amongst friends and family and undergoing the ceremonial process, there is a certain level of relief as the couple has made their commitment to each other as well as to their spiritual beliefs, and among the friends and family who were witness to their love. And what better way to commemorate that love and commitment than the couple sealing the deal with a kiss.
The wailing sound of a bag pipe is a very special addition to the post-ceremony moment as attendees exit the church. It’s sound is both haunting and soothing in many ways and it’s quite a skill for someone who is versed at playing this instrument.
With all the preparations having been made and played out to this point, it is of course the time to really acknowledge the culmination of this event by now heading out to the reception. This is really the chance for the couple to meet & greet all of their invited guests who were fortunate enough to be included with the festivities. The lovely setting has a wonderful ambiance and provides a lovely atmosphere for guests to kick back and enjoy some great food, music, and of course, dancing!

After the traditional entrance of the bridal party, the parents of the Bride and Groom, and the Bride and Groom themselves, the more staple aspects of the reception begin. This includes the speeches of select family and friends who are close to the Bride and Groom, toasts honoring the newlywed couple, and then the dances of the Bride and her Father, and the Groom and his Mother. This is followed by the sweet cutting of the wedding cake, a moment where while the thought of being fun and feeding each other in a comical way mostly gives in to sharing this tasty confection with each other gingerly.
Next to food, music is a major part of any reception. It really allows to set the mood for some fun, and encourages those attending to let down their hair and party with the newly married couple who will also take some time to enjoy and participate.
