Every birthday counts. Yet a 21st birthday is special because it signifies a major turning point in a young adult’s life. This milestone should be celebrated. For Gabrielle Coben, her 21st birthday bash at the Stratus Lounge in Philadelphia was indeed a beautiful celebration. J&J Studios was there to capture every moment of Gabrielle’s lounge birthday party.
Planning Gabrielle’s Birthday Celebration
This year Gabrielle had her heart set on throwing an epic party to bring in her 21st birthday with all of her friends and family. After all, this was the year where she would be welcomed into adulthood and would finally be legal! So she decided to host her party at the Stratus Rooftop Lounge.
When Philadelphia shut down in late March due to the coronavirus Gabrielle was sure that her party would be canceled. However, Gabrielle decided to hold on to her reservation. When everything opened up in June she was informed that she would still be able to host her party at the lounge.
Gabrielle was ecstatic and wanted to throw an event where her friends and family could have lots of fun and could forget about their worries for a while. Coben sent out invitations to just a small group of family and friends.
Intimate 21st Birthday Bash at Stratus Lounge
On Saturday, October 3, 2020, Gabrielle with a small group of her family and friends pulled up to the Stratus Lounge at Hotel Monaco. Our team was able to capture all of the memorable moments of that night. Some of the best visuals our team recorded that night includes:

For a lot of the guests, cocktail time was the best part of the evening.
Of course, we had to get a photo of the delicious food and stunning cake which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
There were several moments throughout the party where we were able to snap some photographs of the guest of honor.

Stratus Rooftop Lounge is a nightspot located at the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. Best known for its delicious cocktails and their tasty food selection this lounge is one of the hottest nightspots in the city. Hotel Monaco is often described as a huge palace because of it’s breathtaking decor.

This space is beautifully designed and there’s lots of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate your guests. The staff has enhanced their cleaning and sanitizing policy, changed their seating protocol, and how food is prepared and served to the guests. Of course, the lounge does have a dress code that is diligently enforced.
