Swolemates
WODs, cleans, deadlifts.
These are just a few of the things CrossFit has to offer. For Hannah Levy and Jason Marable, it was all of these and more. It’s a sweet story bound to get your heart pumping. When the two decided to compete together on a CrossFit team out of Requisite in East Falls, they fell head over heels together. They spent endless hours training and encouraging each other, which ultimately sparked a fiery romance. Their relationship is already built off encouragement, willingness to work, and common goals – and that’s something every couple needs.
Cue The Tears
Jason proposed while on their vacation in Hawaii. He led Hannah out onto a rock jetty overlooking the ocean (we are swooning). It wasn’t his original plan though. Initially, the plan was to propose on a mountain. But something swayed him to propose then and there on the jetty. The moment felt right and the location was dreamy. It just so happened it stormed earlier that afternoon, so when the sunset broke through the clouds, he knelt down on one knee and knew it was the perfect moment.
Couples Who Train Together… Stay Together
Meeting through CrossFit, they realized their similarities early on. Their love for all-things health and fitness struck a chord and drew them closer together. If there’s one word to describe Hannah, it’s “competitive.” That’s why Jason’s silliness counteracts as a good balance for their relationship. They enjoy cuddling up and turning on a Disney movie when they’re not at their favorite bar… We do have to brag about Hannah’s dance moves though. She needs to pick up competitive dancing. ?
Withstanding Nature’s Course
For their engagement session in Philadelphia, we headed over to Fairmount Water Works. We knew a storm was brewing, but since they’re from New Jersey, I challenged them. This awesome couple was up for dramatic shots in the rain. In sickness and health, oh, and wind and rain, too. The fierce clouds were darkening and moved quickly. Their umbrella hardly stood a chance, but I don’t think these two had a care in the world. The pouring rain made powerful shots that most dream about.
… And So The Adventure Begins
Hannah and Jason are planning to wed outside of the city into a more rural, secluded area. Due to COVID-19, they are now rearranging their original wedding plans. At first, they planned on a big, elaborate wedding, but now, they are more than happy with the thought of an intimate, smaller wedding. They wanted their engagement session in the city, to evenly balance their rural wedding. A little mix of both gives them a wide array of memories to cherish for years to come.
During these trying times, we can still take care of you. Couples still vow to make the most out of these circumstances. If you are ready to book your session, head over here. We will accommodate and make your engagement photography session in Philadelphia one for the books. This is a unique time to remember – on top of being engaged. Document these moments with professional photographs by yours truly. As your Philadelphia engagement photographer, it would be my honor to capture your memories.
