Hunting Hill Mansion Engagement at Ridley Creek State Park
J&J Studios recently met Erin and Vincent, a delightful couple ready to have their engagement photos taken. We chose Hunting Hill Mansion at the Ridley Creek State Park for their engagement session, and we are all pleased with how their photos turned out. Below, I will tell you about this sweet couple and show you their completed images.
About Erin and Vincent
Erin and Vincent had the privilege of meeting at The University of Akron School of Law. They met during their first year of law school, but Vincent did not gain the courage to officially speak to Erin until their second year. Even though this couple has been engaged for almost three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the spark in their relationship is as bright as ever. They enjoy laughing, telling jokes, debating about everything, and playing with their two cats which are named after legal cases. This couple was a lot of fun to be around, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Congratulations Erin and Vincent; we wish you guys the best in all your future endeavors!

The Hunting Hill Mansion at the Ridley Creek State Park is a large house in the country. Its architecture is beautiful, and the gray stones are one of a kind. Our team of photographers often choose this location for couple and engagement photos because the backdrops it provides are gorgeous. There are also around 2,000 acres to walk around on which used to be home to horses, gardens, and trails. The Hunting Hill Mansion is a popular wedding venue choice, and we can see why! It features a bridal suite, ballroom, living room, breathtaking staircase, and so much more. To visit this location, go to 1023 Sycamore Mills Road

The Proposal and Inspiration for this Hunting Hill Mansion Engagement Session
While photographing Vincent and Erin, we got all the scoop about the proposal. Vincent popped the question over Thanksgiving holiday in 2018. This occurred in a private location at Erin’s brother’s home in Charlotte. Vincent wanted it to be an intimate moment between the two with not a lot of people around. The couple went down the stairs to join the rest of the family and announce their engagement, but they did not believe them. It wasn’t until they showed the ring that it seemed real to the family. Then, they all celebrated Erin and Vincent’s happy news!
This couple plans to have a winter wedding in the city. Therefore, they were looking for a different type of feel for their engagement photos. So, our crew worked our magic and came up with a summer, country, and outdoorsy session to contrast their wedding in the coming months. We felt like this would be perfect, and it did turn out to be amazing!
