Claudia and Chris’s Jefferson University Medical School engagement session was filled with lots of kisses and cuddles. To say that romance was in the air would be an understatement. The engaged couple reached out to us a few months ago, eager to commemorate their engagement with a beautiful shoot that was authentic to their love. During this session, we made sure we hit up some of Chris and Claudia’s favorite spots. Check out the epics visuals we captured during this session. 

A Med School Love Story

Chris and Claudia met in college. They both attended Sidney Kimmel Medical School. Their love for medicine and genuine desire to help people is what initially attracted them to each other. Despite the challenges of medical school, Chris and Claudia managed to keep their love alive and attributes to that, always making sure that they spent quality time together. 

“We chased our dreams together and we never gave up on each other during the process. We are best friends and each other’s teachers.” Claudia remarked during the consultation. 

Chris’s Romantic Proposal

Chris proposed to Claudia on Christmas Eve in 2019 in front of all of her family. Although they had talked about marriage, Claudia didn’t know precisely when Chris would propose, so it was definitely a big surprise. Claudia often refers to Chris’s proposal as one of the best days of her life.

Jefferson University Medical School Engagement Session

This engagement photoshoot was very important to Chris and Claudia. Last year, these physicians dedicated themselves to working the frontlines during the pandemic, and they didn’t have much time to celebrate their engagement or plan their wedding. 

This lovely couple’sple’sle’s engagement shoot took place on a warm, beautiful afternoon. We met up with Chris and Claudia at the Jefferson University Medical School, and together, we explored the beautiful landscape of the school and captured epic visuals of the couple. They chose the location because it symbolized how they first met.

Race Street Pier was the following location: a beautiful expanse of land located on the Delaware Waterfront. The cool breeze was just what we needed to add a dramatic flair to these visuals. We even incorporated a few warm photographs of the couple with their cute furry friend. 

The session ended on Addison Street. Addison Street at the 1700 block.  The area is known for its grand historic home architecture, the sky high trees lining the street, and the colorful shutters. Addison Street is beautiful in every season, but it really comes alive at night which is why we decided to stop here after sunset. The photographs we took of Claudia and Chris here under the warm glow of lights were simply magical.
