Longwood Gardens Engagement | Sarah + Adrian | Kennett Square, PA

Sarah and Adrian had a beautiful engagement session at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. The couple came to the shoot knowing they wanted to shoot in the newly opened grotto, pictured above. We couldn’t agree more and hope they print this image.
I think it helped greatly that we chose a later part of the day so most guests had gone for the day. That way we had the gardens mostly to ourselves.
One area of Longwood Gardens our engagement couples always enjoy is the Italian Water Gardens.
Another attraction our engagement clients always enjoy is the Canopy Cathedral treehouse. The treehouse definitely brings back childhood memories and certainly gives a cutesy, whimsical feel to the photos.
We found an open area with backlit sun and couldn’t resist a silhouette. As you can probably tell, we can never resist a silhouette.
It was getting hot so we went into the conservatory for some beautiful greenhouse pictures.
We always like to pull out a macro lens to get some close-ups of the ring so make sure you do your nails prior to the engagement shoot!
After a bit longer in the conservatory, we went outside to find the Main Fountain Garden for the grand photo opportunities it would provide.
We can’t wait to celebrate Sarah and Adrian’s wedding on April 18, 2020 at the Inn at Penn, a Hilton Hotel. We wish them the best as they finalize their wedding preparations.
