Merion Tribute House Wedding: Jessica & Ray
Our fall wedding season has kicked off with a variety of beautiful weddings. One of our favorites is Jessica and Ray’s Merion Tribute House wedding. Throughout this article, I will share with you some of the incredible photographs that we captured at this wedding, tell you about the Merion Tribute House, and go over the details of Jessica and Ray’s special day.
Let the Bridal and Groom Prepping Begin
The bride and groom began their day around lunch time in separate suites at the Hilton in Philadelphia. The anticipation was at an all-time high, and everyone was so excited for Jessica and Ray. Lots of stories, memories, laughs, and tears were shared while getting ready for the big day. Makeup and hair was done, and everyone got in their wedding attire. After everyone was ready, Jessica and Ray exchanged letters that will be cherished for the rest of their lives. The letters were sentimental and expressed how excited they are to be spending their lives together. Then, the parents had their first look and gave words of wisdom and advice.
J&J Studios enjoyed capturing the bridal and groom prepping, as this is a magical moment before the most anticipated part of the day arrives. We felt welcomed and at home by the family and friends. One by one, everyone started hopping into the trolley to head over to the selected venue, which is the Merion Tribute House.
The couple would like to shout out the Hilton for its impressive presidential suite, amazing hospitality, and excellent convenience. The address to this hotel is 4200 City Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19131. If you are planning a wedding in or near the city of Philadelphia, this hotel is a top recommendation to get ready in and prepare for your special day.
Time for The First Look
It was important for Jessica and Ray to set aside time alone to have their intimate first look. They wanted this special moment where they get to see each other for the first time, and J&J Studios was given the privilege to document it. A first look is when a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day.
This tradition is not a well-known, historic tradition, but it is becoming increasingly popular in modern day weddings. Some people have never seen a wedding where the married couple did not see each other for the first time at the altar, but a lot of people are opting to throw out that part of their wedding day. The goal is to get an authentic reaction when the couple sees each other for the first time, which typically consists of an emotional reaction, a surprised reaction, or a happy reaction.
This is an amazing photo opportunity that our clients appreciate because it is the first time seeing each other on the most important day of their lives. It also gives the couple time to spend private time together, conversating before the marriage ceremony. Our team of photographers cannot get enough of first looks, and we are beaming with joy that these are currently a hot trend in the wedding world right now!
The Long-awaited Marriage Ceremony
It was finally the moment we have all been waiting for, the marriage ceremony! The ceremony began around 5:30 and started with the groomsmen and bridesmaids walking down the aisle. Ray waited for his bride at the beautifully decorated arch. As her father walked her down the aisle, all eyes were on Jessica and Ray. Everything was absolutely stunning, and you could immediately tell that the couple was not only smitten with each other but also with their marriage ceremony.
Jessica and Ray looked very excited, as they have been looking forward to this moment for a long time. As vows were shared, smiles and tears were seen throughout the crowd. The rings were exchanged, and the groom kissed his bride. Everyone was happy to see these two tie the knot, and J&J Studios could not have asked for a better group of people to spend our day with. This was a magical wedding on a cool autumn day, which are our favorite types of weddings. We could tell by looking at the crowd that this would be an unforgettable day in each of their lives!
