We just got back from Mike’s headshot session, and we were blown away by how cool the pictures came out. Thanks for choosing J&J Studios for this so important photography project. Mike wanted his headshot photography to be as professional, effective, and as high-quality as possible. He wanted a photographer who would focus on every aspect of his photos, such as the background, lighting, and outfit. Mike also wanted a photographer with experience giving headshots for senior portraits. He looked at many photographers on the internet and decided on Shoot J&J Studios because we had so many great reviews and our clients loved their photos.

NORRISTOWN HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION WITH MIKE

Mike’s studio headshot session was as planned. He was easy to work with and chose a casual approach to his session. We started with a few test shots and then moved on to more serious expressions. We started in our studio, where we shot some portraits in front of a seamless background. The lighting setup was simple: two strobes and umbrellas, but it’s the posing that can make or break a portrait. We placed Mike against the seamless background and made him look towards the camera at 45 degrees.

The key to this pose is getting his chin up and slightly tilted towards the camera. This angle will create depth in the eyes while also keeping everything else in proportion. He was comfortable in front of the camera, which is always a bonus!

The shoot went by quickly, which is always a good thing! We can’t wait to see what he does with these images now that they are ready for him!
