In the middle of December, J&J Studios was contacted to photograph a proposal in the center of Philadelphia, and we think that it turned out great. Michael’s Philadelphia City Hall Christmas Proposal to Katerina

Michael and Katerina have been dating for quite awhile, and he was ready to make things official. With Christmas approaching, he knew one of the holiday events in Philadelphia would be the perfect setting for a proposal. After doing some research, Michael decided to propose in front of the big Christmas tree at Dilworth Park. His goal was to make this a day to remember for the rest of their lives as well as be the perfect start of a great holiday season.

The lights were lit around City Hall, and the air was cool. Everyone was laughing, chatting, and enjoying the festivities that Philly has to offer. Michael knew it was the right moment, and the team at J&J Studios was in place and ready to begin documenting the proposal. As Michael got down on one knee, we could see the happiness radiating from both he and Katerina. It was truly a magical moment that we are so glad we were able to capture for the couple. City Hall is a very famous government building in the center of Philadelphia. In fact, this building is the seat of the municipal government of Philly. It proudly houses the chambers of the City Council and the offices of the Mayor. Many people have not learned the facts of this building, but that has not taken away from its increasing popularity. It is one of the most breathtaking buildings throughout the city with its beautiful architecture and historical features. To date, Philadelphia’s City Hall remains to be the largest municipal building in America. It is also one of the most photographed buildings in the city, and tourists and locals both enjoy having their photo taken in front of it.

Christmas Events in Center City Philadelphia

There are a ton of Christmas events that take place in Center City Philadelphia. As a matter of fact, Philadelphia transforms into a winter wonderland for the holiday season every year. The city hosts an event called the Christmas Village, which is held at City Hall and the Love Park. At this event, there are over 100 shops selling little gifts, ornaments, jewelry, food, toys, and more. It has become an excellent date night for couples and families through the month of December. You can hear and see live entertainment, children beaming with joy, couples walking hand-in-hand, and colorful lights entangled around poles. There is even a carousel and train set up for the little ones!
