Philadelphia City Hall Engagement: Brieann & Frank
J&J Studios made our way back to Center City for Brieann and Frank’s engagement session, which was a blast. This couple contacted us in hopes that we could capture their engagement photos before their wedding day, and we could not wait to do this for them. Below, we will share photos of their Philadelphia City Hall engagement photo shoot, tell you about the location, and explain why it is a good idea to have these types of photos taken.
What Is The Point of An Engagement Photo Shoot and Why Should You Invest in One?
First and foremost, engagement photos are an excellent way to begin celebrating your engagement, marking this milestone with your partner, and to get to know your photographer. Engagement sessions are typically low-stress photo shoots that you can later use for your Save the Date invitations as well as decorations for your wedding day.
During this session, your photographer will help you learn your favorite poses, establish a relationship with you and your partner, and get you comfortable and prepared for the big day. You can choose your favorite locations to snap photos at, change into multiple outfits, and enjoy a day conversating and walking around with your better half. J&J Studios recommends investing in an engagement session because you can hang these photos around your home, look back on the memories forever, and send them to friends and loved ones to announce you’re engaged. This is a big moment in your life, and you deserve to scream it to the world!
Philadelphia City Hall Engagement Session Location
This engagement session took place at City Hall, which is located in Center City Philadelphia. This iconic building is one of Philly’s greatest architectural treasures. As a matter of fact, it is the largest municipal building in the United States, boasting close to 15 acres of floor space. City Hall is 548 feet and was the tallest building in Philly until 1987. If you enter the building, you will find the Mayor’s Reception Room, the Supreme Court Room, the City Council Chamber, Conversation Hall, and so much more.
J&J Studios’ clients enjoy strolling around Center City and capturing photos in front of the epic City Hall building because it is unique, breathtaking, historical, and makes a nice backdrop for photos. There are also other great locations nearby, such as Rittenhouse Square, Reading Terminal Market, Love Park, Dilworth Park, Washington Square West, and The University of the Arts. To see this gorgeous building for yourself, visit 1400 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19107. It is located between 5th and Chestnut streets.
