Philadelphia Lifestyle Newborn Photography | Erica + Chris

If you want something different than traditional newborn photos on fluffy blankets and pillows, Philadelphia Lifestyle Newborn Photography can be a better fit for you. We will come into your home with all the proper equipment and lighting to capture pictures of your new baby in action.
Philadelphia Lifestyle Newborn Photography is more about capturing candid moments and interactions between you and your newborn than posing pretty pictures on a pillow. We can do that too, but we enjoy alternate styles of newborn photos as well.
We do pose some of the pictures, but try to keep posing minimal and capture rather natural pictures of you and your baby. This helps provide a more realistic feel to the pictures.
Most Philly lifestyle newborn sessions are between 3-4 hours long as we want the photos to have an unrushed, natural feel. We’ll also need frequent breaks for feedings, changings, and naps.
Pro tip: If you are interested in a lifestyle newborn session, one of the best things to have in a space heater to keep the area we are shooting warm. This helps baby stay asleep and peaceful throughout the shoot.
Pro tip: Don’t worry, we take care of all the retouching–normal baby skin is usually discolored–we will fix all that later!
