Philadelphia Museum of Art and Fairmount Waterworks Engagement

Jackie and Rich were so full of energy and ecstatic about their engagement shoot when we met them over a month ago. Full of love and ready to spend the rest of their lives together, they desired a beautiful yet simple photo shoot to commemorate the occasion. This couple certainly wasn’t camera shy, and we were able to produce epic visuals that they absolutely loved. Check out how this Philadelphia Museum of Art and Fairmount Waterworks engagement shoot went.
An Online Love Affair
Like several of the other couples we’ve had the privilege to shoot with, Jackie and Rich met online. They were matched on Bumble, and Jackie reached out to him through their messaging feature on the website. They talked for weeks before Jackie agreed to let Rich take her out on a date. The rest was history.
Jackie fell in love with Rich’s bright and loving nature. “Anyone who meets him loves him and he goes above and beyond to make sure I’m safe and the happiest I can be. (I could write a novel but I will keep this concise,” Jackie remarked on our couple’s questionnaire. The love this couple has for each other was obvious in their interactions, and it always a pleasure to work with such couples.
Rich’s Epic Proposal
Rich proposed to Jackie at his parent’s house. They were supposed to meet up to have dinner at his parent’s house. However, when Jackie arrived, Rich had set up an intimate dinner on their deck, complete with flowers, lights, and candles. Their favorite song was playing in the background.
The proposal was intimate, and Jackie describes it as one of the best days of her life. The couple is in the final stages of the wedding planning process and is eagerly awaiting their wedding date.
Philadelphia Museum of Art and Fairmount Waterworks Engagement Session
Rich and Jackie were down for whatever when it came to this engagement session. They trusted our vision and even allowed us to select the location. We’ve captured some of the most stunning visuals at the Philadelphia Museum Of Art and Fairmount Waterworks, so it was only right that we shoot here.
Rich and Jackie were comfortable in front of the camera and admonished the couple to forget that the cameras were watching and simply being themselves. We captured different sides of Rich and Jackie from sweet kisses, bouts of playful fun, and laughter.
During the second half of the session, Jackie did a quick outfit change. She changed into a vibrant blue top that perfectly matched her fiance’s fit. Together we explored the depths of the Fairmount Waterworks, capturing pictures of the couple all over the area. These are our personal favorite photographs:
