J&J Studios had a blast documenting a recent wedding in the country. The venue, couple, food, and atmosphere were all perfect. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our fall afternoon! Early Morning Start to A Big Day

The bride and bridesmaids and the groom and groomsmen began getting ready around 8:00 at the Desmond Hotel, an incredible Doubletree hotel by Hilton. This hotel is located in Malvern, Pennsylvania which is not far from the couple’s venue choice. Stories, cheers, laughter, and smiles filled the rooms, and we could immediately feel the closeness that all these individuals share. The couple sent each other letters and gifts, which we could tell were very sentimental and touched one another’s heart.

The hotel was extremely accommodating and made sure that the couple had everything that they needed. J&J Studios highly recommends it for anyone getting married near Malvern, Pennsylvania and needs a place to get ready beforehand. After hair and makeup was complete, the shuttle arrived to take everyone to the venue. Our team was glad to be able to capture the getting ready process, which we believe is very important because it shows the anticipation and closeness between you and your friends and families.

First Looks

Lauren wanted to do a first look with her father first. This was an amazing moment between the father and daughter. He thought she looked beautiful and wished her well on her new journey with Brian. This is one of our favorite elements to capture, as it is typically a moment that the bride will want to cherish for the rest of her life. She can look back at these pictures and remember the look on her father’s face the moment he saw her on her wedding day.

Next, it was time for Brian and Lauren to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. This is one of the most anticipated moments of the big day, as the bride and groom cannot wait to reunite and see each other all dressed up. These images are always natural and authentic because our crew ensures that we capture the couple at the very second that they see each other. Their reactions are one of the best parts of the big day, and these pictures usually end up being some of the couple’s most beloved photographs from the entire day.

The Marriage Ceremony at Radnor Hunt

Brian and Lauren’s marriage ceremony was absolutely breathtaking. Being in the country at the Radnor Hunt venue, we were surrounded by amazing fall foliage, incredible greenery, horses, and plenty of beautiful nature. These two could not have picked a better spot for their wedding day! Although hard to believe, Radnor Hunt is less than 30 miles from the city of Philadelphia. It seems like it is worlds away, as you are on 6,000 acres of land on the countryside of Pennsylvania with unbelievable views. The staff at this venue are very friendly and helpful, and you will quickly notice that this is not just a job for them but instead a passion and way of life.

Weddings are not the only thing that the Radnor Hunt hosts. In fact, you can reserve the space for birthday parties, Bar and Bat mitzvahs, corporate events, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, work meetings, military balls, galas, and so much more. You cannot go wrong with selecting this venue because it offers a charming atmosphere, some of the most helpful staff that our crew has ever worked with, incredible history, and awe-inspiring views. The large ballroom can accommodate up to 175 guests for a sit-down meal and 160 guests for a buffet meal. The smaller ballroom can accommodate up to 60 guests. No matter which ballroom you choose, both feature an awesome terrace and a covered porch that overlooks the pastoral countryside.

The Reception at Radnor Hunt

Lauren and Brian’s reception will always be one to remember! These two had a blast surrounded by their friends and loved ones. Everyone was so happy and excited for the new adventure that the couple is about to embark on. Advice, memories, and tears of joy were shared. The guests were impressed with all the little details that Brian and Lauren included in their reception to make it symbolize their relationship. Lauren mentioned how she did a lot of Do It Yourself (DIY) projects to ensure that she got exactly what she wanted and to create a day that fit her and her new husband. Both of them were very satisfied with how the day turned out, and they could not wait to celebrate their love by dancing the evening away.
