Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding | Brooke + Scott

Brooke + Scott | The Rittenhouse Hotel | Philadelphia, PA USA
Brooke and Scott’s sparkle themed wedding at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, PA was one of the most emotional, fun-filled weddings of this season. Everything about the wedding had a traditional, classic romance feel to it and all the details of the day were perfectly executed. The couple stayed in the luxurious Rittenhouse Hotel, the bride and her ladies in a well-appointed Park Suite and the groom and his groomsmen in a beautiful Executive Suite on the Rittenhouse Floor (top floor). They began the day with a butlered breakfast as Alex Quici of The Rittenhouse Spa & Club – Hair by Paul Labreque began the bridal makeup and the groomsmen enjoyed some Brosé from @theaustinwinery.
Every detail of the day was perfect. Both the bride and groom wore Christian Louboutin. The groom had the classic Maison Christian Louboutin: Greggo while the bride had So Kate, Christian Louboutin’s finest stiletto heel in a shimmering iridescent sparkling, keeping with her theme of “Sparkle Elegance.”
Brooke’s theme of “Sparkle Elegance” is further shown by her choice of a 3.2 carat diamond designed by Verragio; it’s got classical style and truly representative of the elegance of the day.
Brooke and Scott gathered guests from far and wide (the pair live in Dallas, TX) with Minted.com Georgia styled wedding invitations. The foil-pressed text appears in both white and silver.
The couple also had His and Hers embroidered handkerchiefs and gorgeous, shimmering earrings and garter.
The bride carried her grandmother’s gorgeous brooch on her bridal bouquet. The florals were provided by the illustrious Carl Alan.
After breakfast and makeup, the girls had just enough time for a pillow fight in their matching embroidered outfits.
While the bridesmaids were busy jumping on the bed, Scott was opening a very special gift from his bride to be along with a handwritten card. As Scott travels a lot for business, the Large London Check and Leather Briefcase by Burberry was a perfect wedding present.
Not to be outdone, Scott had his own wedding gift for his bride to be. What could it be?
How They Met
From the bride:
“We met at a slowly developing Philadelphia Eagles watch party in Austin, TX. I know it’s hard to imagine that one even exists, but back then we had about 20 people attend. Now we have over 200 members that come out every week! And we officially run the Austin’s Eagles Nest. I like to think of us as the king and queen :)”
The Proposal
“The proposal was epic! We had a fabulous room at the Cliff House in Maine overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was New Year’s Eve and we had the TV turned to Rockin’ New Year’s Eve and a fire going in the fireplace. After the clock stuck midnight, the resort shot off fireworks over the ocean. As I was watching the fireworks, Scott handed me a champagne glass and on the glass was etched “Will you marry me?”It was absolutely perfect!”
The Rittenhouse Hotel
With the wedding ceremony fast approaching, the couple had to get dressed. Brooke wore a beautiful wedding dress with a gorgeous custom veil by Giselle Bridals. Scott wore a black tux.
The bridesmaids looked stunning as they helped Brooke into her custom wedding dress.
After preparations, the groom and groomsmen took to Rittenhouse Square for some manly pictures with matching sunglasses and additional Brosé from @theaustinwinery.
The bridesmaids and bride stayed inside for some pictures inside the gorgeous Rittenhouse Hotel lobby.
After pictures of the bride and her tribe, we sequestered Brooke in the luxurious Library Bar to await her First Look with the dapper groom.
Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia PA
After the first look, the bridal party headed across the street to Rittenhouse Square for some dazzling bridal party pictures. The bridesmaids looked awesome in their dresses and the groomsmen looked dapper in their tuxedos. Scott wore a gorgeous black tuxedo and Brooke wore a shimmering white dress.
Ceremony
The ceremony was officiated by a friend of the groom and there was not a dry eye in the house. Brooke’s father was not well enough to travel to Philadelphia from Dallas, TX but wore his Sunday best and attended the wedding through Facetime. When asked, “Who gives this woman to be married?” by the officiant, the bride’s father proudly exclaimed, “I do!”
The Reception, Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding
Meanwhile, the guests enjoyed an indulgent cocktail hour in the Mary Cassatt Tea Room – Rittenhouse Hotel and adjoining outdoor atrium. Waiters in black tuxedos wearing white gloves served passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne. A full oyster and lobster bar awaited guests adjoining a well-stocked panini station. Giant shrimp with delicious scallions and cocktail sauce filled the table. Steamed dumplings were served by a maître d’hôtel.
Meanwhile, the event designers including Amelia Bray of Synergetic lighting, the florists from Carl Alan, and Jessica Kerrigan, Catering Services Manager at the Rittenhouse hotel and her staff feverously worked to turn the room around from wedding ceremony to wedding reception. The gleaming blue and purple uplighting perfectly complimented the shimmering golden chandeliers and glass centerpieces which allowed the entire room to sparkle. A gorgeous four-tiered wedding cake stood front and center crowning the room in a sort of regal glory. Beautiful white floral centerpieces in clear glass vases by Carl Alan Studio provided the coup de grâce.
After a sentimental first dance and the best man and maid of honor speeches, the guests danced the night away to the sweet mixes provided by Jon Mulhern of EBE Talent.
