Rittenhouse Square and Addison Street Engagement

James and Sarah Rittenhouse Square Park and Addison Street engagement session quickly turned into a romantic stroll through the park to some of the most scenic spots in Philadelphia. There’s nothing more beautiful than Rittenhouse Square in the summertime. The flowers were vibrant and blooming. There was nothing but lush greenness while Addison Street was engulfed in bold and vivid hues which looked absolutely stunning through the camera lens. The romance was in the air during this shoot.
Take a minute and explore James and Sarah’s love story with us and the epic visuals we captured during the engagement shoot.
How James and Sarah Met….
The first time James and Sarah met was at a party that had been thrown by mutual friends. Their friends had actually been anticipating their meeting. “Sarah stole my case of beer and when I approached her to ask her about it, she said what beer while leaning on the case of beer. She indicated that it was her beer and I quickly learned the meaning of ‘what’s yours is hers,” James remarked with laughter.
James loves the fact that Sara cares for him more than he cares for himself. “She has been there for me no matter what and has helped guide me through life. I would honestly be lost without her guidance,” James said during the consultation. On the other hand, Sara describes James as the most hardworking person she knows. He won her heart with his unwavering dedication to making their dreams come true.
Addison Street Proposal
James popped the big question on Christmas evening. The couple had been visiting Center City. They had been driving home in the wrong direction for thirty minutes. Afterward, they ended up on Addison street where James ended up proposing.
The couple is currently in the midst of planning their special day. Due to the pandemic, they have experienced a lot of setbacks, forced to cancel and replan. However, they plan on tying the knot in the near future.
Rittenhouse Square Park and Addison Street Engagement Session
For their engagement session, Sara and James wanted to take things back to where they got engaged. It was only fitting that we take this epic photoshoot to Addison street. However, since we had some time, we started off in Rittenhouse Square Park and wandered through the entire expanse of the park, and captured several classic photos of the couple.
We eventually worked our way to Addison Street. Addison Street is a picturesque location and is often referred to as Philly’s most beautiful alley. This street is full of charm. The stream of lights wrapped around the trees gives Addison street a magical charm. This place was really special to Sara and James because it was where they became engaged. We recreated the proposal moment for the visuals and even got some photos in front of the infamous red and yellow door.
