Amber and Matt’s wedding at Springside Barn perfectly combines elegance, tradition, and fun. The weather was perfect, the guests were all smiles, and the food was delicious. It was also a dream (literally) for our team at J&J Studios, who were invited to capture every moment of this special day.

Amber has always been a dreamer, and her wedding was no exception. When she started planning her big day, she had an idea in mind: she wanted to have a barn wedding that would include everything that make her happy. She wanted to have a lot of fun with her friends and family, eat delicious food, and dance the night away. She also wanted it to be super easy for everyone involved. This is why she chose our venue for her ceremony!

Springside Barn is known for its beautiful indoor-outdoor setting and its dedication to making sure every couple has everything they need for their special day. We helped Amber plan a ceremony that was exactly what she wanted: simple, tasteful, and fun. And we know how much she loved it!

MEET THE BRIDE AND GROOM: AMBER & MATT

Matt and Amber were a fun couple to work with during their wedding. They were both very easygoing but also wanted to ensure the day went off without a hitch. They wanted everything to be perfect, and we were happy to help them achieve that goal.

As we got ready for the ceremony, we discussed what their vision was for the day, and we came up with several ways to help them execute that vision. We talked about how they would handle things like taking photographs, exchanging rings, and cutting the cake. We also discussed how they wanted their guests to feel throughout the ceremony and reception.

The ceremony was beautiful; all our staff commented on how well it went off without any hitches or issues. The couple exchanged rings without any delays or problems, and they cut the cake together at just the right time so that everyone could see them do it!

It was a pleasure working with Matt and Amber; they were very pleased with their experience working with us as well!

SPRINGSIDE BARN WEDDING VENUE

When Amber and Matt decided to get married, they knew where they wanted their ceremony to take place: Springside Barn. This gorgeous venue is located in the heart of Philadelphia, and it boasts an old-fashioned charm.

Amber and Matt were looking for a venue that would capture the spirit of their relationship: simple, authentic, and full of love. When they saw Springside Barn for the first time, they knew it was the right choice. The barn has been around since 1812 and has been carefully preserved over its lifetime as one of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful venues. It has been used by many couples as a place to tie the knot—and now it was used by Amber and Matt as well!

Not only is this historic barn perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony, but it also offers several other options for your special day. Indoor ceremony space with gorgeous views of the surrounding farmland. An elegant indoor reception hall with exposed wood beams and rustic charm; or an outdoor reception area overlooking acres of lush green fields. SPRINGSIDE BARN WEDDING PREPARATIONS

We arrived at the Springside Barn to see Amber and Matt’s wedding preparation in full swing. The ceremony was just a few hours away, and a big crowd of friends and family were there to help the two of them get ready for their big day. The atmosphere had that happy, excited buzz that only weddings can stir up.

It was a beautiful sight to see all of their loved ones come together to celebrate Amber and Matt’s love. To highlight how much this wedding meant to everyone involved, we set up some photos around the barn. We wanted to capture some shots of the group hanging out in their natural environment, in the surroundings that they’d be spending most of their day in.

The result was some gorgeous photos and an even more gorgeous afternoon spent with everyone getting ready for what was sure to be an incredible wedding.

SPRINGSIDE BARN WEDDING CEREMONY

Amber and Matt’s wedding ceremony at Springside Barn began with a procession of bridesmaids in gorgeous purple dresses and white flower crowns, which led the way to the aisle with colorful flowers. The bride herself was stunning in a beaded lace dress.

The couple prepared for the big day in the Springside barn with the help of a few close friends and family members, who all pitched in to prepare and take candid shots. Amber and Matt exchanged vows and rings, sealing their marriage with a kiss as friends cheered from the pews.

After exchanging their vows, Amber and Matt stepped back to officially become husband and wife as they walked down the aisle together as a married couple for the first time. They walked out the aisle as they left behind their single lives to start this new journey together.

While much of the ceremony was set to be personalized by Amber and Matt. Their vendors guided them through the process of planning a wedding ceremony in which they could comfortably share their vision. After the ceremony, guests were invited for cocktails before making their way into the dining room for dinner.

COCKTAIL HOUR AT SPRINGSIDE BARN

Amber and Matt’s wedding reception at Springside Barn was a fun evening of celebration and dancing. The night started with a cocktail hour in the grand ballroom, where guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. We were excited to try out the new bar. It featured a gorgeous interior complete with a full bar and an impressive wall of liquor bottles.

Cocktail hour is a great time to unwind after the stress of getting ready, the ceremony itself, and the excitement of seeing everyone you know looking their best on one special day. I also think it’s a great time for people to catch up and talk about what they’ve been up to. We were all there to celebrate Matt and Amber and thus we would be talking about them a lot. Therefore, this allowed us to start conversations with people beyond my close circle of friends.

But it didn’t stop there. As soon as cocktail hour ended, the servers began setting up tables with an extensive array of food choices! And beyond that, they set up rows of tables with seating so everyone could sit down to enjoy their meals. They went all out to make sure everyone was well-fed!

SPRINGSIDE BARN WEDDING RECEPTION

Amber and Matt’s wedding reception at Springside Barn was a hit with all their friends in the area. The couple spared no expense when it came to their decorations or presentation of the food, and the guests could not have been happier. The barn’s rustic charm helped put everyone in the mood for a celebration. The overall ambiance added to the already positive feelings many of the guests had about the newlyweds.

It was the perfect venue for a relaxed but elegant celebration and was an ideal blend of tradition and creativity. With its exposed beams and rustic charm. The event space exuded a timeless quality, while Amber’s vision for the day combined modern touches with classic elements. The bride’s eclectic personality made herself known in the many DIY details she oversaw, including the food and decor.

To keep things simple, all of the appetizers were passed at once by servers who walked among the tables. Guests could choose to eat them there or take them somewhere else to enjoy. The meal was served family-style at round tables. The dinner was delicious. After dinner, there was a break for people to enjoy a few more drinks and socialize before the dancing began. Amber wanted to get everyone on the floor right away. Therefore, there was plenty of music ready so that everyone could dance easily.
