The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride: Philadelphia 2026
Men’s health is an important topic as it is sometimes is not front and center in the minds of everyone as much as it should be. There are many wonderful organizations that work to bring issues front and center around this initiatives. One of them is The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride: Philadelphia 2026. This yearly event is a special commitment from some long-standing individuals to help raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research along with other broader men’s mental health issues.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of TV Show Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic motorcycle and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a themed event, focusing on the classic style of both participants and their machines. Dress dapper and celebrate in style with your fellow gentlefolk!
Movember has been the official partner of The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride since 2016. Both organizations share a simple goal: to bring people together and change the face of men’s health. Funds raised by The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride help to power Movember’s work across two of the most complex issues facing men around the globe: prostate cancer and mental health.
Such an initiative requires the need of partners to help support and expand their initiatives. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is proud to have Triumph Motorcycles as a global partner for the 13th consecutive year of bringing classic and vintage style motorcyclists together.Triumph became the official motorcycle partner of the DGR in 2014, bringing a commitment to increase awareness, grow participation and ultimately increase fundraising in support of this worthy cause. During this fantastic partnership, Triumph have created many unique motorcycles to promote the DGR; including a one-of-a-kind Triumph Thruxton RS DGR Edition, and a custom ‘1959 Legends’ Triumph Bonneville T120 with a matching Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar. Triumph have also built a one-off custom Bonneville T100, the Dapper Bonnie, and in celebration of our 10-year anniversary in 2023, launched the exclusive Bonneville T120 Black DGR Edition for public sale, limited to 250 units worldwide. This year, for 2026, Triumph will be rewarding the winner of the Gentlefolk Competition with a one-of-one 2026 Triumph Speed Twin RS Cafe Racer DGR Edition motorcycle, featuring a custom Harris Tweed seat and unique number-board commemorating 15 years of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.
Along with many committed individuals, there also is an element of fun and camaraderie amongst participants, as exampled in the photo of this gentleman and his best friend. Both of them captured as they prepare for the big event and shows The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride: Philadelphia 2026 is not limited to just human involvement!
