Natalie and Reid chose J&J Studios for their wedding proposal or engagement photos as it’s also known. The purpose is for the couple to capture their love for each other on film, in pictures, and a memorable manner. It surprises loved ones with an idea that makes many years later enjoyable.
Reid knew that if he were to propose to Natalie, there was no other place he would rather do it than at Philadelphia University. After taking a few months to plan everything out and make sure he had the ring and ideal timing, Reid finally set up a day with J&J Studios to have his proposal photoshoot.

Philadelphia University is an urban professional university nestled in the heart of Philadelphia’s vibrant University City neighborhood. Home to more than 10,000 students. Natalie and Reid wanted a unique location to have their pre-wedding engagement session specially designed for them in Philadelphia. To begin their shoot, they walked through the Ben franklin sculpture, where they shared a kiss under a beautiful arbor.
As they started their first formal shot, Reid walked over to Natalie and dropped down on one knee. Right then and there, she knew what was going on and started tearing up from the pure happiness of the moment. He said all the things that she wanted to hear for years and showed once again how much he loved her and how lucky she is to have him in her life. And needless to say, she said YES!

Natalie and Reid are a couple who know the meaning of hard work. They also understand the importance of having fun and enjoying life. They’ve made great sacrifices in terms of the opportunity to move closer to one another, and when they’re together, they honor their love with commitment. As a couple, they are warm, kind, and funny — intensely honest with one another, as well as with themselves. They can talk about anything and everything. I found myself falling in love with them even more during our photoshoot!
