The outfit for your corporate headshots for men is something between formal and casual. You need to dress in a way that communicates a professional attitude. No flashy colors, no crazy patterned ties, no wild colors on your shirt, and so on. It should be more formal than business casual and less formal than a suit.
You don’t want to wear anything too tight or revealing. If your clothes are too loose-fitting, it’s going to be distracting and make you look like you’re drowning in your clothes. It’s also important not to wear anything that draws away from your face.
You want to look approachable and friendly, but not like you’re coming from the beach or the gym. The key is to look good without looking like you put a lot of time into it. Everyone makes some effort with their clothing but the difference between good and bad grooming is in the details.
