J&J Studios had the honor of ending the year 2022 with Mike and Larry’s gorgeous Vie at Cescaphe wedding. Ever since that day, we have been blown away with how magical their wedding was. Our team cannot wait to share with you the details and images from this wedding. We will also tell you a little about the couple, their wedding day, and the venue.

Mike Getting Ready for the Wedding Day

Mike began getting ready for the wedding day. He spent some time with his friends, family, and loved ones while preparing for the ceremony. They shared laughs, memories, and good times together. Every so often Mike would look at his letter to Larry, making sure everything was accurate and perfect. He could not wait to see Larry and share with him the letter written from his heart. As the anticipation grew, the ceremony time quickly approached.

Larry Preparing for the Wedding Day

In another room, Larry was getting ready for the wedding day as well. He was excited for what was to come and could not wait to set eyes on his husband-to-be for the first time, but he decided to take it all in and enjoy the moment with his friends and loved ones. They shared a few toasts to his special day and to his new life with Mike. Laughs, tears, advice, and fun times were shared among the group. Then, before we knew it, it was time for Larry to have his first look with Mike!

First Look & Alone Time Together

Larry made his way to the area where Mike stood waiting for him. Mike was bursting with excitement, waiting for Larry to tap on his shoulder. He could hear Larry’s foot steps, which quickly brought a grin to his face. Once Larry finally tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around and took a look at his handsome groom. Larry and Mike could not stop smiling. It was an emotional and authentic moment for the couple, and tears began to fall.

If you have never heard of a first look, it is the moments before the ceremony in which the couple sees each other for the very first time. Our photographers love capturing first looks because the reactions and emotions are real and raw, and we get to show the couple how amazing their partner reacted to seeing them for the first time on their wedding day. The best part is that they get to keep and treasure these photos forever!

Mike and Larry enjoyed these few moments together and were very glad that they made time to spend a few minutes alone together before the wedding festivities started. They took time to read over their personal vows and heartfelt letters to one another. Our crew thought this was a very sweet and tender moment to schedule into their day, and we believe it is important to take time to have a private conversation before being surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones for the rest of the day.

The Pros of a First Look

In case you are still considering it, here are a few of the pros of a first look:

• You both can get a lot of photos taken together before the ceremony even starts.
• You both will get alone time together to privately discuss or say anything special that you want to one another.
• Your emotional and authentic moment will be documented and treasured for the rest of your lives together.

The only con to having a first look is that you and your partner may need to get ready a little earlier and make room within your wedding schedule. However, this is only a small inconvenience that our team believes is absolutely worth it!

Meet Mike and Larry: The Two Handsome Grooms

Mike and Larry are the two handsome grooms that we had the privilege to end 2022 while photographing their wedding. These two guys are wonderful together! They are always smiling, laughing, and getting lost in one another’s eyes. What they share together is truly fantastic! While our crew was photographing Mike and Larry’s wedding, we noticed how they were either full of so much energy that lit up the entire room, or they were in their own little bubble smiling and laughing in one another’s presence as the rest of the room disappeared. They are a great couple, and we believe that they have many happy years ahead of them! Congratulations Larry and Mike! We enjoyed being a part of your wedding day, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two!

The Vie at Cescaphe Wedding Ceremony

It was time for Mike and Larry’s Vie at Cescaphe wedding ceremony. To describe the ceremony room, we would say it was charming, lovely, and overall breathtaking. Mike was walked down the aisle by his mother. He then patiently waited for his groom to walk down the aisle to him. Larry appeared and was walked down the aisle by his mother as well. Our photographers could tell that these two guys have incredible bonds with their mothers, so it was great to see them incorporate special moments with their mothers into their wedding day. After Larry made his way to Mike, these two were beaming with joy! We could tell that they had waited a very long time for this moment to come true, and it was finally becoming a reality!

Their officiant started the ceremony as the guests watched and listened closely. There was not a frown or dry eye in sight. In fact, there were several cheers and laughs shared among the guests. Our team could tell that Larry and Mike’s guests were all very happy and excited for them. The two exchanged rings, vowed to spend the rest of their lives together, and sealed their marriage with a kiss! Then, they made their way to the reception, where their guests would be waiting to celebrate with them.

Vie at Cescaphe Wedding Reception

Once the two grooms entered the ballroom reception, it was time for the party to start! They had their first dance as husband and husband, while everyone watched in awe. Then, they each shared a dance with their mothers, which was a sentimental moment. Afterwards, everyone had great drinks, tasty food, and delicious cake! The dance floor was packed with people boogying away. You could tell that Larry and Mike’s guests were thrilled to be there and were truly enjoying their night. The celebrations didn’t end until 1:00 AM, so we all brought in the New Year together. J&J Studios couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to spend our Saturday and New Years with! We felt very welcomed, comfortable, and treated like friends.
